Harvard PhD student Jennifer Brea is soon going to marry the love of her life, Omar, when her body suddenly starts failing her. Bedridden by a fever and going through strange symptoms, Jen decides to pick up her camera to shed light on the disease that seems to be derailing her life. Commonly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, M.E. is an illness that is still believed by some to be “all in your head.” Confined to the bed, Jen uses social media and Skype to connect with a forgotten community sharing her suffering. This eloquent and intimate documentary not only is a story of love and loss but also urges viewers to rethink the stigma associated with an illness affecting millions.
