We are celebrating International Women’s Day with a 25th anniversary showing of Steven Sodeerbergh’s inspiring, Academy Award (Best Actress for Julia Roberts) winning biopic Eric Brockovich.
Based on the true story of an unsophisticated single mother who stumbles upon an environmental cover-up. While working for a lawyer, she is puzzled by an old case and decides to do some research of her own. She discovers that a chemical company knowingly polluted the local area, and with the help of the lawyer launches a class action to sue the company for damages.
