No. 4 Restaurant & Bar is the Abbeygate Cinema’s stunning dining room – with its Georgian style décor and a warm welcome, it offers a tasteful and relaxing setting to enjoy a glass of wine before a film, coffee and chat or a delectable sit-down meal. Our menu ensures a variety of top quality food on offer so everyone can find something to suit their tastes, including truly scrumptious burgers and exotic salads. The food is hand-crafted daily on-site using high-quality raw ingredients. Our current menu has been carefully crafted by our head chef to include various meals and light bites that can be made and brought to your table speedily; perfect for a quick bite before a film! .We use local meats and sustainable seafood. Our organically grown herbs and spices bring bold and exciting flavours to our dishes and our signature white bap is made by our local baker, unique only to No.4. For those of you who want to come by for an afternoon break, we have a classic afternoon tea (by pre-order) and a lavish spread of decadent sweets on offer. We also cater for children with smaller portions of the high-quality choices from our main menu. Function Room also available. Members get 10% off their food and drink.

Discover + Dine tables are seated one hour before the start of the film. Please do not arrive any later than this.
We are delighted to share a new season of film and food with Discover and Dine.
One ticket will grant you access to the film, as well as a two-course meal, for only £15. Not only that, but you can take advantage of free parking from 3pm on a Tuesday, making the whole experience even more affordable.
There will be a set menu, unique to each Discover and Dine, with a Main and a Dessert. We hope that this will help bring a new audience to our Discover films on a Tuesday, where we are able to use our independent status to show a broad range of quality alternative films.
The food offering will be designed by our head chef specifically for the Discover and Dine events. We will aim to provide a vegetarian option for each Discover + Dine event.
